Derbyshire Peak District National Park
The Peak District National Park in Derbyshire is the home of Britain's first National Park. Established in 1951 the Peak District is somewhat of an anomaly among Britains National Parks.To the North, East and West of the peaks lies the areas of the High Peak also known as the Dark Peak for its coarse black gritstone and to the South lies the areas of the Low Peak also know as the White Peak for its white limestone making it a great place to shoot.
